Rinpoche gently draws attention to our breath at the tip of the nose and further guides our awareness to our central channel - the conduit of method and wisdom. Here, we visit the sanctuary of awareness with every breath, where all is transformed into a neutral state of oneness. During the opening nostril breathing, women are encouraged to breathe in from the right nostril (wisdom channel) and out through the left nostril (karma channel), while men are advised to do the opposite (breathe in from the left nostril and out from the right nostril). The final exhalation should be through both nostrils.
